Quick Response Codes are popping up everywhere. They're square pixellated barcodes that, when scanned by a camera phone, bring up information or link to a particular website and the one below will even take you to Design Without Sleep.

Apparently Welsh people are upset that they're not featured on the UK flag.
Cultural Minister Margaret Hodge told MPs on 28th November 2007: "The Welsh dragon was not included on the union flag, as the principality of Wales was already united with England by 1606 when the first union flag was created. "I can assure all MPs that the issue of the design of the union flag will be considered. As the current flag is formed by merging three heraldic crosses representing the three kingdoms of the UK, the original design was a challenge. Thinking of a new design that would meet everyone's aspiration would be an even greater challenge."
So here's my design for a new flag:
The yellow and black comes from the flag of the patron saint of Wales.

Following on from my previous post I have designed 10 more business card ideas. My favourite I think is the sticker ones because they could actually be stickers, so each business card has a personal feel. The stickers can also be any colour, and could be any typeface, although I do like Mrs Eaves™ which I have used on this case. I also like the idea of hiding 'without'. See what you think anyway. Comments appreciated as usual.

A graphic prank I created a few years ago whilst working at a supermarket. The notice on the left is the original and I thought it would be funny and interesting to subtly edit the text and put back into it's location (staff toilets). It worked great and went unnoticed for quite some time. I can just imagine a staff member having a number two and half reading the notice and realising it had been tampered!

Just in its testing stage before I start to push it up in everyones faces (especially seeing as 2 people in my class have launched sites in the past 7 days) but www.jordansheldrick.com is near done.
Ive still got to spell check and get it all proof read (please do) before I can send out links - and find any errors. Plus I've checked it on most browsers and it seems to be all working fine, but that was a while ago so please check it on Safari and give me feedback against Firefox if you can.
Other than that its pretty much there, not too much work on it left, but I need a few extra images for some of the projects...
So yeah, if you can give everything a quick read and check it sounds cool that would be lovely, then we can crack out the black absinth and toast to it!

Hey folks,
This years Mac Expo is approaching (27th October) and I've had an email asking wether we would like to register for free entrance.
The website is www.macliveexpo.co.uk so you can get your free ticket from there up untill mid-September if your up for it this year to steal a couple of magazines and see the new products and Mac-cy crap like that.
I've also been working on a few briefs, which you can see the work in progress over at www.sheldrick.blogspot.com but I'll put the final products up here once there done. Please lend some advice, critisism to there on the designs and such.
In other news, I haven't seen you 2 in a while so how about a drink this week/weekend?? Get back at me homeboys.
